A child experiencing emotion is a beautiful thing.  To watch a child laughing or crying or anything in between is magical and documenting it in pictures is priceless.

I first observed the magic of children in the classroom.  With a B.A. in English Literature from SUNY at Albany, and an M.S. in Special Education from CUNY at Hunter College, I taught Special Education in Early Childhood classrooms for 15 years.  I was always fascinated by how each child possessed unique qualities.  My career focused on helping the individual child recognize those qualities and be the best they could be.  I am now using those skills to capture those “unique qualities” in pictures and to assist families in preserving the innocence of childhood.  I’ve trained at the International Center of Photography, and from 2007 - 2008 I was most fortunate to  apprentice Heidi Green, of Heidi Green Photography in NYC.
